DRESS & ACCESSORIES: This constructed knit dress is from Randall Craig, legacy designer of upscale doll couture. Garment is constructed of soft knit material in rich cornflower blue, complimentary to many doll complexions, especially tanned. The dress is meant to fit snug but not too tight, and has a lot of potential stretch to fit many different body shapes, but best fits dolls with larger chest and wide shoulders. The cobalt blue beaded jewelry set, gold leatherette box purse, and cobalt/gold brocade high-heel boots complete the ensemble. This is a great fashion set to ramp up your doll wardrobe with a casually elegant option. Dress slips on over feet/hips and has a top back snap closure.

INCLUDES:

• Dress – Randall Craig brand over-calf length with three-quarter-sleeves and deep vee neckline in rich cornflower blue stretch fine-knit material. Shown on a Meteor Fashion Royalty doll.
• Boots – Joe Tai brand over-calf length cobalt and gold brocade uppers with molded blue high-heel soles and back zipper closures. Boot fit depends on thickness of doll leg, foot size, and foot arch or incline angle. Boots will fit a variety of dolls but are not appropriate for flat-foot dolls with no ankle articulation. Shown on a Meteor Fashion Royalty doll.
• Purse – Vogue/CK China brand Gold two-strap leatherette box purse with open top.
• Jewelry – Vogue/CK China brand Cobalt blue and transparent beadwork necklace and earrings. Necklace has rounded shape with fanning strands of dangle beads and “S” hook closure. Dangle earrings consist of single strand of string beads attached to metal posts about the size of a sewing straight pin, designed to fit upscale fashion dolls like Fashion Royalty and similar. Jewelry is somewhat delicate; handle with care.
• NOT Included: Doll and hair accessories.

NOTE 1:  Earrings will not fit dolls with large ear holes like Barbie that comes with factory-inserted large-post plastic earrings. It may be possible to add a silicone spacer or small bit of tissue to the base of the earring post to snug up earring fit for dolls with large ear holes. If your doll does not have ear holes, you can use a plastic pushpin to create ear holes – make sure they are symmetrically spaced to match position on both sides of doll head. Fashion Royalty dolls often have indents to signify where ear holes should be made. If an ear hole becomes stretched, apply heat to the head to shrink it. Use a heating pad or dip doll head covered with plastic bag into boiled water for a minute or so – avoid prolonged high heat so as not to damage hair style or applied lashes.

NOTE 2: Boot zippers can be somewhat “fiddly” – best way to avoid damage while opening and closing is to use curved needle nose pliers to grip the zipper slider on front/back or side/side and gently push/pull and avoid getting material caught in slider while opening or closing. A skewer may also work to push down the zipper slider from the top while gripping top edge of boot – however we have not tested this method.
