DRESSED. This 1995 play-line/collector Charice doll was part of the Candi doll line acquired by Integrity Toys that was eventually developed into the Janay & Friends play line of fashion dolls. Janay & Friends expanded to include best friends Alysa and Jade, boyfriends Jordan, Tariq, and Keith, and a twin sister named Nakia. The Charice face sculpt was the precursor to Alysa.
This Charice is on her original body similar to a Mattel twist-waist Barbie body with similar articulation and slightly larger bust and ankles. - Earrings – Removable silver-tone loop-hoops.
- Hair clip – Purple sparkle claw-type.
- Long-sleeve faux layered shirt – Genuine Mattel Fashion Fever Gillian 2005/H0922 shirt (back when Mattel was producing clothing worthy of mention). PACKAGING – Retail box is in great shape with all items intact. Story card is located in slot inside front cover. (COA is normally located under inner box.) A couple small flaws on upper right and lower left front corner of box front are shown in pictures. (NOTE: This item has remained sealed inside its shipper box for almost 20 years and contains items such as vinyl and fabric and silicone packets that together can create a chemical odor inside confined space. However, this quickly dissipates when package is opened, leaving no lingering odors on individual items. FYI for those who may be sensitive to certain smells.)

- DRESS – Thin double-knit stretch shift in rib-texture khaki tan with matching ribbon straps slips on for a snug fit that hugs natural curves. Fits slim and standard fashion dolls.
- SHAWL – This custom hand-knit lacy open weave shawl constructed of shiny copper/russet thread has a delicate slinky feel and makes a nice coordinated contrast against the tan shift.
- PURSE – The two-strap box purse in antique gold leatherette has a decorate front clasp for a realistic fashion accent.

REDRESSED. This like-new doll has medium dark brown very soft long straight hair that’s voluminously curly on the ends, and golden brown eyes. She wears gold metallic stud earrings (that don’t appear to be easily removable). The Fresh Dolls body has a slightly oversize head and shorter neck with round rotation articulation. Shoulders and hips rotate front-back and lateral. Elbows and knees are jointed, and high-heel feet are sized similar to Mattel standard Barbie to wear most shoes made for high-heel Barbie. Proportions of this body are in between standard belly-button or made-to-move Barbie, and curvy Barbie, with the shoulders, chest, and hips of the Fresh Doll being a bit wider than standard but not as wide as curvy. Curvy Barbie can wear much of the Fresh Dolls clothing, depending on design.
This lovely doll comes with the following original clothing:
- JACKET – Open-front stadium jacket in lightweight hot pink parachute-like material features elastic-gathered cuffs and a yellow waist drawstring. This is a great casual fashion piece to mix with a multitude of outfits.
