This Integrity Toys representation of Lana Turner, the Hollywood “golden age” MGM studio movie actress who rose to fame in the 1940s and 50s, is a stunning lady with short golden blonde hair in original vintage factory style, heavily gelled to stay in place. She is like new, out of the box, on her original “wasp waist” Japan tone tall body, with pale blue eyes and applied lashes in fairly good shape. Admittedly, this doll is not a perfect likeness of Ms. Turner when compared to commonly available photos of the actress. However, with her serene expression, this doll expertly channels reserved Hollywood royalty – and, not to diminish Ms. Turner, we dare to say this doll seems more beautiful and sophisticated than the actress herself in her prime.
Mini Lana comes wearing a pair of tiny stud “diamond earrings. Also included is the sublimely elegant pale mint green satin floor-length mermaid gown she’s modeling, from the Barbie Hollywood Movie Stars “Between Takes” doll by Mattel. The gown features a lavish back train, front pleated chiffon inset at the knees, and large serge-hemmed train of chiffon split and secured at the back of the waist to form twin bundled swaths positioned under each arm, going up over the chest area, and secured just below the neck with a gold detailed brooch/medallion. Twin necklace-like triple strands of tiny white faux pearls, attached to the medallion/brooch, create halter straps that fasten at the back of the neck with an “S” hook and loop. Snaps secure the back of the dress. Also included is a bracelet fashioned from matching tiny faux white pearls strung on a double strand of stretch beading thread so that the bracelet easily slips on over the hand. And finally, a pair of standard white flex-vinyl “Candi” strappy heels that fit a variety of fashion dolls is included.

MGA Bratzillaz (House of Witchez) was a short-lived collection of Bratz-style dolls, introduced in 2012, featuring oversize heads with inset eyes, wild-color rooted hair, and articulated bodies with attached high-heel feet. Each character possessed a core power or skill, and some came with pets. The BACK TO MAGIC series was a basic doll issue with the doll wearing a magic-themed outfit that included some accessories. JADE J’ADORE could mend a broken heart.
This JADE has a pale complexion and orange-red inset eyes. Her shoulder-length white straight hair has red layers styled in two blunt-cut side ponytails with front bangs. She wears a red and black argyle dress mimicking a jumper with attached white top, and round collar and bottom ruffle in black vinyl. A matching capelet with coat of arms covers her shoulders. Also included are over-knee red stretch stockings with black bows, a red velvet hat with black vinyl brim, and high-heel white booties with red broken heart emblem, and black plastic broom-shaped hairbrush. Each character possessed a core power or skill, and some came with pets. The MIDNIGHT BEACH series was a basic doll issue with the doll wearing a beach-themed outfit that included some accessories. SASHABELLA PAWS could communicate with animals.
This SASHABELLA has a glow-in-the-dark feature, with pale complexion, printed-on tattoos, and yellow-green cat-like inset eyes. Her long platinum blonde straight hair has split-front bangs and black accent streaks. She wears a two-piece swimsuit with brown fur strapless top and orange pattern bottoms, and a plastic brown bone belt with attached orange pattern beach cover-up with brown fur front modesty panel that can also be worn as a cape. Blue-eyed redheaded Midge with older style Superstar Diva face sculpt has a legacy gymnast jointed body with rotational/lateral movement at the neck and shoulders, jointed elbows, mobile waist, and fixed ankles with larger flat feet. Hip-length hair has been washed, combed, and restyled with original rat’s-nest curls straightened, and a small amount of leave-in product added to prevent flyaways. Top front portion of hair has been fastened back in a high half-ponytail. Doll has aqua plastic button earrings and comes dressed in black and multi-color stretch pull-on Barbie-Troll leggings, aqua three-quarter-sleeve top with snap back closure, and hot pink tennis shoes designed for flat-foot Barbie.

NUDE, REBODIED. This Misaki “Posh Girl” has been rebodied on a replacement Poppy Parker/Misaki body and has rooted eyelashes, brown eyes, freckles, and long shoulder-length red hair in heavy waves. With articulation at neck, chest, shoulders, elbows, writs, hips, knees, and ankles, she has somewhat larger feet that can wear some roomier Barbie shoes, or shoes made for dolls with larger feet. (Hands do not seem to be removable.) With a smaller bust and hips, she can wear many clothing pieces designed for dolls smaller than the standard belly-button Barbie. Hair is heavily curled/waved and maintains the original style.

She has gray eyes and rooted lashes and comes dressed in a basic Barbie style outfit to compliment her unique hair color. Outfit includes a halter dress with gold ribbon ties and stretchy salmon pink glittered drop-waist fitted bodice and short vivid salmon pink taffeta ruffle skirt. Accessories include a bright salmon-red single bead gold chain necklace with “S” hook closure, salmon pink vinyl novelty heels, and a salmon reddish-pink molded plastic purse with gold metal ring handle. This rare doll has a body similar to Poppy Parker with articulation at neck, chest, shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees, and ankles.
