NEVER REMOVED FROM BOX, GREAT CONDITION. Gold Label. This stunning Barbie interpretation of the mythological Greek nymph tending Athena’s temple turned into a gorgon, is presented in a greenish-gold display package with lift-off lid. Medusa wears a finely detailed curve-hugging mermaid-style corseted gown with gold snakes entwined around her arms, and high-heel strap sandals hidden under her skirt. Other accessories – earrings and necklace – echo her serpent-like nature. Luxurious long curly auburn locks represent her signature head of writhing snakes, and her lovely face betrays the stone-turning gaze of golden snake eyes.
This exceptional doll will come as shown, never removed from her retail display box. The box itself has a lid that lifts off to reveal a removable clear hard plastic protector layer over the doll secured inside the box back/bottom. The inside lid corners – left top and bottom – have small stress tears (came this way from Mattel), but box lid still displays very well. This doll has never been removed from shipper except to examine contents and photograph. Doll comes with retail box and original Mattel shipper. If shipped separately, will be wrapped with cling wrap inside original Mattel double-wall cardboard shipper. Shipper will be bubble-wrapped and covered with poly bagging to help protect against shipping mishaps.

DRESSED. This lovely pale-complexion Barbie has the CEO face sculpt, wavy mid-back yellow-blonde hair, bright blue eyes, and bold fuchsia lip color. She comes rebodied on a standard belly-button body with high heel feet and jointed knees. Clothing includes a dynamic patterned pink and yellow floor-length glitter-infused taffeta jacket-dress open in the front with a Velcro-type closure at the front waist, from 2003/B2787 “Secret Spells.” Also included is a pair of pale pink-tint nude pantyhose*, pink platform sandals, and a bright yellow shorts set with stretchy bra top and front ribbon halter ties. The shorts are made of a cotton-blend gabardine material and both pieces have back Velcro-type closures. Clothing items can be mixed and matched with other separates for a variety of fashion looks. A fun doll with interesting fashion pieces to add to your collection. (*NOTE: Pantyhose have a few minor snags but are still serviceable with many outfits.)

NUDE, REBODIED. Barbie with long wavy blonde hair, rebodied on articulated Fashionista body with articulated chest and older-style high-heel jointed legs.
NOTE – Knees and shoulders are swingy so we tossed her on the FREE pile for a quick rehome. Joints can be tightened up a bit by carefully applying superglue or clear nail polish to the contact areas and continuously moving the joint to prevent sticking while application dries. Acetone-related chemicals in the application will cause the joint plastic to swell slightly and create greater friction. This is NOT a repair that should be attempted by the faint of heart, as it is entirely possible to permanently glue the joint together or otherwise damage the doll.

DOLL – Classic Model Muse body with five-point articulation in Nubian skin tone, beautiful face, and long curly/wavy black hair pulled back in a low ponytail.
CLOTHING / ACCESSORIES – Three outfits plus accessories are included:
- Doll comes wearing a silver metallic bikini set with bandeau top gathered in front with braided halter ribbon-ties and matching boy-cut bottoms with attached silver fabric belt. Accessories include white strappy high heels, silver “diamond” gem drop earrings, and black black frame sunglasses with smoked lenses.
- Skirt and blouse outfit consists of a metallic gold sleeveless top with attached front neck bow under a lightweight black open-front cardigan/sweater. Skirt in gray/taupe smooth taffeta-like material is gathered at the waist in an A-line shape with a brown faux leather belt attached. Also included: a matching brown faux leather oversize hobo purse, black ankle-strap heels, and a miniature retail-packaged pair of black pantyhose.

Box in great structural shape with very little wear considering the age of this product. Of note are several minor rubs on right side, showing up as white against the black box finish, and a small crease on the right side near the middle-front. This item will be bubble-wrapped and shipped in a slightly oversize double-wall cardboard shipping box to accommodate extra packing material for added protection.
