Poppy Parker: Premiere Convention “Poppy’s Makeup Makeover” Workshop /2013 PP058 & Prismatica Collection Hollis Hughes “Three of Hearts” Dress /2024 88079 – (Redressed, Modified)
REDRESSED, MODIFIED. This unique Poppy has an orchid pink lip color, soft cool pink eye shadow, and her ash blonde long straight hair is factory-styled in a ponytail with braided wrap. Her eyelashes are in fairly good shape, upright and slightly curled. She’s on a classic Poppy Parker body with non-removable hands and articulation at neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, chest, hips, knees, and ankles. She’s about the same height as (or a smidgen taller than) standard belly-button or made-to-move Mattel Barbie, with more slender chest and hips. She comes with the following fashion items/accessories:
- DRESS – This flirty, fluffy orchid ruffled mini dress in lightweight Trico taffeta has a straight neckline with one ribbon shoulder strap, and a back zipper. (Be careful zipping – lining tends to get caught in zipper. Use bent needle nose pliers to coax zipper up from bottom.) This dress comes from the Hollis Hughes “Three of Hearts” doll from the 2024 Integrity Tulabelle True Prismatica Collection. Garment is designed to fit dolls similar in size and proportion to Poppy Parker.
- UNDERGARMENT – The matching pair of bikini panties hook in back. Garment is designed to fit dolls similar in size and proportion to Poppy Parker, but with slightly different hips, so panties fit Poppy a little loose at top.
- SHOES – White wedge-heel double-ankle-strap shoes in faux leather with real metal slide buckles will come tissue-wrapped in a Vogue-branded hinged-lid black box that can double as a diorama prop. With patience and care, shoes can be put on and taken off without unbuckling the ankle straps.
- JEWELRY – Poppy comes wearing small white bead earrings on straight-pin posts, plus a white enamel metal bracelet/band with a molded organic faceted design. The metal gives slightly and slides onto Poppy’s wrist with a bit of care and determination – angle the opening and slide over outside of hand so opening skims middle of hand. Once bracelet clears hand, it fits nicely on wrist.
NOTE: Since this was a makeup workshop doll, and some subtle coloring apparently has been applied, it’s advisable to take care when cleaning the face. Dust with soft cloth – do not scrub the face vigorously with soap and water using sponges or bristles, as this might possibly remove some applied coloring.
This high-end fashion doll with bonus unique clothing pieces will make a great addition to any discerning collection, and is a nice introduction for enthusiasts new to Integrity fashion dolls – and, in particular, Poppy Parker.
