NRFB, GREAT CONDITION. This charming two-doll gift set is a nostalgic Integrity Toys licensed issue of character dolls Poppy Parker and Chip Farnsworth III presented in movie-themed clothing and packaging as a doll-brand interpretation of the classic 1967 romantic drama, “Barefoot in the Park.” The cinematic rendition of Neil Simon’s Broadway play focuses on a Greenwich Village newlywed couple facing relationship challenges, and Poppy and Chip are loose interpretations of the (very young at the time) original actors Jane Fonda and Robert Redford as free-spirited Corie and uptight lawyer Paul Bratter in the movie. This fun gift set contains the following:
DOLLS – This gift set contains two dolls:
- Poppy Parker has forward-glancing blue eyes with applied lashes, soft pink lipstick, and straight medium reddish-brown hair styled with the top half pulled back and fringy bangs loosely swept to the side. She has the typical Poppy Parker body style and articulation: slender torso with small chest and narrow hips; tilt/rotate neck; tilt chest; lateral/rotate shoulders and hips; bend/rotate elbows, wrists, and knees; and tilt/rotate ankles with flat sculpted feet somewhat larger than the typical high-heel fashion doll foot. Hands are advertised as removable for easy dressing.
- Chip Farnsworth III has longish straight blond hair with side part that’s gently swept back and gelled. He has the typical homme body with articulation at neck, chest, shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees, and ankles.
CLOTHING – This gift set contains a complete fashion ensemble for each doll:
- Poppy’s clothing consists of reddish-brown corduroy trousers and gold mock-turtleneck pullover sweater, both pieces with back closures. She also comes with a beige wool-like below-hip car coat with attached hood, front patch pockets, and front toggle closures.
- Chip’s clothing includes a pale blue button-down dress shirt with breast pocket, a navy tie, and a charcoal suit jacket and trousers set. Shirt and jacket fasten in front, and pants fasten in back. Also included is a gray knit neck scarf and a black knee-length button-down wool-like overcoat with hidden hook and thread-loop front closures.
ACCESSORIES – This gift set contains accessories for each doll:
- Poppy’s accessories include a pair of reddish-brown ankle boots with short chunk heels, gold metallic small hoop earrings, a simple gold wedding band, and a gold ring with a cameo-type white pearl setting. A doll stand is secured in the box.
- Chip’s accessories include black wingtip-type lace-up shoes, a silver-tone wrist watch, and a gold-tone wedding band. A doll stand is secured in the box.
PACKAGING – This item is new, “Never Removed From Box.” The white retail lift-top box is printed with a whimsical cartoon illustration approximating the imagery on the original 1967 movie poster and is in great shape with one small “pinch” on the right back edge of the lid. This item will come in its original retail packaging inside a protective plastic sleeve inside the original factory brown shipper box. Additionally, if shipped separately, the shipper box will be bubble-wrapped and covered in poly bagging for shipment. If shipped with other items, the original retail and shipper box will be placed inside an outer shipper to contain all items shipped.

- Doll vinyl will often become more brittle and delicate with age as chemical softeners added to the vinyl in the manufacturing process diminish over time. Fashion Royalty dolls are made of a harder vinyl than most play line dolls, so stress points (neck and other joint locations) on their bodies will tend to become more delicate. Please use care when posing/redressing/storing older dolls, as joints – especially the neck – can become stiff and brittle and more susceptible to breakage. If a head on an older FR doll will not turn or tilt with minimal pressure, DO NOT FORCE, as this could cause breakage.
- This Poppy doll has “starter” earring holes – barely noticeable slight depressions to indicate where holes can be made for symmetrical jewelry presentation. If you choose to pierce doll’s ears, a small plastic-head pushpin is ideal for this task, as it is easy to handle and creates a hole about the right size for most typical high-end metal-post earrings.
