Veronique Perrin: Tropicalia Collection Jason Wu Event IX (Uriah Workshop) /2012 – (Dressed)
DRESSED, EXCELLENT CONDITION. This beautiful strawberry-blonde Veronique has the 2.0 face sculpt – a nice refinement from the first version. She is on her original legacy tall “wasp waist” FR body with removable hands and has a lovely subtle face screening and applied lashes that are in pretty good shape. Her long luxurious hair has been brushed to remove the stiff factory styling gel. It’s a bit untamed but can easily be smoothed with leave-in product – or completely restyled as desired. She comes with the following items:
- DRESS – Nicely tailored modernized vintage-style cap-sleeve dress with full skirt is constructed of premium cotton-blend fabric sporting a cheerful floral pattern in yellow, pink, and blue. Stud-style snaps secure the back. Dress bodice is fully lined, and skirt is lined with tulle, with the couturier’s label sewn in-seam. (Made by Ebay seller cajig2014 aka Yoly’s Designs.) TIP: For easy dressing, use a small flat-head screwdriver or similar stiff flat object to gently pry the snaps open and save your fingernails and the fabric from undue stress.
- BELT – The removable belt of off-white real leather is attached to a square metal slide buckle studded with faux diamonds for a nice dressy upscale look. (Same couturier as above.)
- HAT – Aqua-blue handmade sewn felt wide-brim hat features matching ribbon edge trim and tulle top/front ruffles with serged edges, complimenting this lovely feminine look. (Same couturier as above.)
- SHOES – Faux leather buckskin pumps by “The Vogue” fit this and many other dolls with similar size (larger) feet – like Poppy Parker – and finish the look, with the added bonus of color-matching the doll’s luxurious wavy hair. Shoes will come tissue-wrapped in a Vogue-branded black hinge/tab box that can be used for storage and as a great diorama prop.
This beautiful lady will make a great starter doll for enthusiasts new to Fashion Royalty, and will definitely be a welcome addition to any discerning collection.
