Blue-eyed redheaded Midge with older style Superstar Diva face sculpt has a legacy gymnast jointed body with rotational/lateral movement at the neck and shoulders, jointed elbows, mobile waist, and fixed ankles with larger flat feet. Hip-length hair has been washed, combed, and restyled with original rat’s-nest curls straightened, and a small amount of leave-in product added to prevent flyaways. Top front portion of hair has been fastened back in a high half-ponytail. With articulation at neck, chest, shoulders, elbows, writs, hips, knees, and ankles, she has somewhat larger feet that can wear some roomier Barbie shoes, or shoes made for dolls with larger feet. (Hands do not seem to be removable.) With a smaller bust and hips, she can wear many clothing pieces designed for dolls smaller than the standard belly-button Barbie. Based on retro-sixties artwork by contemporary cosmopolitan French illustrator Richard Zielenkiewicz, better known under the pseudonym Monsieur Z. These dolls have slightly larger heads and stylized eyes.
