NUDE, RESTYLED, REBODIED. Veronique Perrin is the undisputed queen of Fashion Royalty dolls – one of the original characters when this fashion doll line first launched. Her version here has been rebodied on a replacement 3.0 generation tall “wasp-waist” body with non-removable hands and subtle mauve mani-pedi. Her original updo hairstyle has been taken down and restyled in a softer more flattering look. The hair is in nice condition, considering the fiber quality is not quite as good as that used on newer FR dolls. Her original applied eyelashes are in fairly good shape, may need a little TLC. This lovely legacy doll offers awesome styling/restyling opportunities and would be a great addition to any fashion doll collection, or as an introductory doll for collectors new to Fashion Royalty.

This is a great starter doll for collectors new to Fashion Royalty. NOTE: Scalp has been repainted with acrylic paint mixed with Mod Podge.

REDRESSED. Integrity introduced the doll character Victoire Roux in the 2011 Jet Set Collection as a post-WWII widely traveled French model who played a huge role in rejuvenating upscale style in the fashion scene. This Victoire features sultry blue eyes with applied lashes in great shape and short blonde hair styled in a tight chignon. She comes on her original body similar in height and proportion to Dynamite Girls and Poppy Parker, but with a slightly larger bust. Items include:
- GOWN – This stunning fabulous upscale original Joe Tai sleeveless ankle-length gown is finely tailored and features a Mandarin collar and form-hugging silhouette covered in bronze sequins, fully lined in white satin, with back snap closures. It will fit a variety of similarly proportioned dolls like Silkstone.
- WRAP – Accompanying Joe Tai wrap consists of intertwined strands of soft lush black fur create a sumptuous boa to accent the sequined gown. (NOTE: For ethical or allergy issues, we want to mention that, while we cannot be sure, this feels like real fur rather than faux fur.)
- GLOVES – Joe Tai black stretch cotton-nylon blend opera-length gloves add drama and formality to this ensemble. (NOTE: These gloves are extremely difficult to put on this particular doll but may fit dolls with smoother/smaller hands better, such as classic Silkstone.)
- JEWELRY – “Diamond” stud metal post earrings (not original to the doll) and a gold chain bracelet with “S” hook closure add sparkle to the overall dark silhouette.
- SHOES – Black hard-sole high heels with black fabric toe straps have black ribbon ankle ties for a daring accent. They will come packaged in a Joe Tai brand lift-top shoe box great for dioramas or as a photo prop.
